Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SellerHQ by Wbsync (“SellerHQ”, “we”, “us”) is a Shopify application that helps merchants manage their Shopify store data by exporting orders, customers, products/inventory, and locations to CSV files, and by bulk-updating inventory quantities from a CSV upload.

2. Data we access

When you connect a Shopify store, SellerHQ requests these API scopes and only these:

• read_customers — to export customer records to CSV
• read_orders — to export order records to CSV
• read_products / write_products — to export product & variant data
• read_inventory / write_inventory — to export and update inventory quantities
• read_locations / write_locations — to export locations and apply multi-location inventory updates

3. How we use your data

• Generate CSV exports that you download in your browser
• Update inventory quantities on your Shopify store based on CSV files you upload
• Show dashboard statistics about your recent exports and imports
• Maintain an audit log of inventory changes (before/after quantities) for your account

We do not sell your data. We do not send store data to third-party accounting systems, external analytics platforms, or any other service outside of Shopify and your browser download.

4. Storage & retention

• OAuth access tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database
• Generated CSV export files and import error reports are stored temporarily on disk and automatically deleted after 24 hours
• Export/import metadata (counts, status, timestamps) is retained while your account exists
• When you disconnect a store or delete your account, tokens are cleared and associated files are removed

5. Account data

To use SellerHQ you create an account with name, email, and password. Passwords are hashed. We use this information only for authentication and service delivery.

6. GDPR & Shopify mandatory webhooks

We implement Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks:

• customers/data_request
• customers/redact
• shop/redact

Upon a redact request we delete relevant temporary export files and, for shop redact, remove the store connection and associated records.

7. Security

Communication with Shopify uses HTTPS. Access tokens are encrypted. Only authenticated users can access their own store data within SellerHQ.
